For part-time faculty: California residents may purchase a one-year Library borrowing privileges card at the Privileges desk in the Doe circulation area, first floor. The fee is $100. All applicants must provide proof of California residence and a current government-issued ID such as a driver's license or passport.
A membership card from the California Alumni Association is available for $50 a year, and together with a CA Driver's license entitles you to a library card as well. NOTE: Alumni of any University of California campus who have a paid membership in any of the nine campus alumni associations can obtain a UC Berkeley library card.
